You are not alone BIWIn response to requests from many affected by benzodiazepine, z-drug, antidepressant and opioid withdrawal who feel they need ongoing, one-on-one support from a qualified counselor who has also experienced withdrawal, I offer confidential support sessions, in the form of consultations.

This is different to formal counseling where deeper issues are usually explored and processed. These support consultations will focus on empowering those affected with coping tools to effectively manage symptoms and with the opportunity to ask questions about their withdrawal. I will listen to you without judgment and will validate your experience from a place of understanding, derived from my own experience and the support work I have done over the past decade.

Consultations are also available for spouses, other family members and caregivers who may be offering support. This will help to prevent or manage issues related to compassion fatigue and burnout and will enable them to understand the process and care for themselves while supporting their loved one.

I am not a medical doctor and am not qualified to advise or comment on medical treatment you may be receiving, or to supervise tapers off medication. The consultations offered will provide coping and self-care information, encouragement and emotional support.

Before booking a consultation please read this Consultations Agreement. Booking a consultation indicates your acceptance of its terms and conditions.

Note: Consultation sessions are 50 minutes long and the fees have been adjusted to make them accessible for everyone.

Consultation fees are £40.
