To All the Beautiful Mothers in Our Community,

Each year, I somehow manage to forget that Mother’s Day falls on different dates depending on where we are in the world. This year was no exception. I missed the UK Mother’s Day in March, and now that it’s Mother’s Day in the US and many other countries, I find myself caught in that familiar feeling of ‘Oh no, I forgot again.’

So today, rather than let another chance slip by, I want to take a moment to honour all mothers in our community, wherever you live, and whatever your journey.

Whether you’re actively parenting, yearning, grieving, healing, or nurturing in quiet ways unseen, please know that your love, strength, and courage do not go unnoticed.

To the mothers deep in withdrawal, feeling you’ve been taken from the ones you love, today is for you.

To those whose bodies and minds are aching, yet who still find the strength to care, even in small ways, today is for you.

To those who are mothering themselves through the hardest of times, today is for you too.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you. You are deeply loved, respected, and held in warm thought today and always.

Here is an affirmation for you:

Even in stillness, I am loving. Even in struggle, I am enough. I honour the mother within me… patient, strong, and healing, one breath at a time.

With much compassion,
