PRESCRIPTION INDUCED DYSFUNCTION WORK

Since 2006 I have supported thousands of people from all over the world as they discontinue prescribed benzodiazepines and similar acting z-drugs, antidepressants, and opioids.

I do not have a medical background and I do not give advice regarding coming off or staying on medication. I am contacted by people who are already reacting to discontinuing and I do my best to help them with coping while they heal.

I have provided awareness presentations to organisations including the British Medical Association (BMA) and have delivered training workshops for therapists. I have been interviewed and quoted by media outlets including The London TimesThe Independent, The Irish Examiner, ITV News and British Medical Association News. I am a section co-author of the Guidance for Psychological Therapists  and author of the internationally successful self-help book, ‘Recovery and Renewal,’ the memoir, ‘With Hope in My Heart’ and the journals, ‘Dearest Me’ and ‘Dearest Friend.’

Over the years I have experienced and witnessed how effective self-kindness and compassion, the use of mindfulness-based and trauma-informed approaches, neuroplasticity exercises, and other appropriate techniques can be. This has fuelled my passion and I genuinely believe that no matter what obstacles a person faces, there is always hope.

I offer the Bloom in Wellness section of this website to anyone experiencing prescription induced dysfunction and neurotoxicity, and I hope it will help. I don’t know what you are going through right now, why you are here, but I am sorry. Whatever your situation is, I encourage you to not give up on your healing and send you much compassion.
