Welcome to the Mindfulness, Acceptance, Self-Kindness, and Action (MASA) program™. Thank you for your interest in joining me as we explore the four essential pillars of healing. For almost two decades I have supported individuals facing one of life’s most difficult and complex challenges: safely and completely healing from the withdrawal and post-acute withdrawal effects experienced when discontinuing antidepressants and benzodiazepines. What I am sharing in this MASA Program™ are the most important, essential, and beneficial steps observed and proven for coping well and living one’s best life while healing and for life after.
You must always believe that healing is your outcome. Despite what anyone tells you, the anecdotal evidence supports recovery, and this is what is ahead for all of you. Your body is self-healing, innately intelligent, and remakably resilient. All the resources that you need to heal are already within you. But it can be a long, arduous, and overwhelming journey, and this causes many of you to doubt ever getting better. You will. You will recover. And I am here to share what I know works with you, and to cheer you on from the sidelines.
YOUR COMMITMENT
Successfully doing the MASA Program™ requires a commitment to following through… for four weeks you will need to give yourself time to attend the Zoom classes and to do your homework and home practice. After this initial period, you will need to persevere with your practice until it becomes integrated into your routine and you regard it as necessary and effective. There may be days when you don’t feel up to making an effort and others when you feel enthusiastic or at least a bit motivated. This is normal and okay. Just like learning to ride a bike, you fall… you get back up… and you continue, until you have mastered it and then you enjoy the rides.
I am delighted that you will be joining our MASA™ course. It starts with the first live online learning session on Friday August 9th 2024 from 6:00 to 7:15 pm BST.
YOUR COURSE CONSISTS OF:
Four weekly live online sessions where you will join me, Baylissa Frederick, using easy-to-use Zoom software. If you have not used Zoom before, here is a short video tutorial about joining a Zoom meeting.
