“Listen to the mustn’ts, child. Listen to the don’ts. Listen to the shouldn’ts, the impossibles, the won’ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me… Anything can happen, child. Anything can be.”
– Shel Silverstein

Information technology has allowed us access to a wealth of knowledge… much of it good. But on offer there is also a bombardment of sensationalism, stark egoism and self-satisfaction, and a prevalence of unkind practices that often involve cyber bullying, peer pressure, and scare and scandal-mongering, which can cause hurt, disillusionment, and distress and contribute to a sense of disequilibrium.

As you navigate your way online, try to remain in awareness and keep that spirit of discernment when you seek information to enchance your well-being and reassure you. Protect yourself and be vigilant enough to weed out and discard what does not serve you best or enlighten you in some way.

The things beyond your control that happen in your life (like withdrawal and ABIND or neurotoxicity), you accept and allow without resisting if you are able to do so, and you do everything you can to cope well while you continue to patiently await completion of the healing process.

While you wait, be careful about online influences causing you to create a reality that does not exist. It could be that you end up thinking you don’t want to be too optimistic and be disappointed, or just the impact of the content you are exposed to causing you to lose hope. Remember that the reality is you are healing, like those before you did, and in time you will have evidence of this.

Always choose to believe that easier times are ahead, that positive experiences are on their way, that healing, contentment, prosperity, and abundance are inevitable. Trust that your desires will be fulfilled and that as the quote says, ANYTHING is possible, and this includes great opportunities that lead to wonderful things happening in your life.

So, today, with this in mind, as you continue along your healing journey, stay in awareness of how and where you spend your time online and how it affects you, and then as you proceed, remember to be open and receptive to all the good that is coming your way. Anything can happen, anything can be.
