Healing Bravehearts
Hope, Strength & Compassionate Support
A safe space for healing and resilience building
Your body is designed to restore homeostatic equilibrium and with the right support and guidance, the challenges of this healing process can be faced with hope and perseverance.
For almost twenty years, I have supported thousands of people discontinuing antidepressants, benzodiazepines, Z-drugs, gabapentinoids, and opioids. I have learned what truly helps and witnessed over and over the resilience of the human body and its remarkable capacity to heal.
No matter what stage of the process you are at, you will find resources here to support you, as you heal.

Founder of Healing Bravehearts
Hi, I’m Baylissa. Welcome to my website! I am a therapist, coach and author who helps individuals healing from prescribed-drug injury and emotional overwhelm, as well as their families, doctors, counsellors, and others who provide care.
Since March of 2006 I have supported thousands worldwide with a blend of mindfulness, acceptance, self-kindness, right action, and steady hope.
Healing Bravehearts is my ‘heart’ work. It is a safe space where you can feel held, understood, and gently supported as you heal.

‘Baylissa is the kindest, most empathetic, and most compassionate person I have ever encountered. She pours her heart and soul into her website, her Circle group, and every single one of us. She looks out for us with a fierce, protective presence.
Her daily affirmations and words of encouragement are carefully crafted and always feel perfectly timed. She reassures, encourages, affirms, and supports us in ways that make this journey feel less frightening and less lonely. We all love her deeply and are incredibly grateful for her.’

‘I will be forever grateful to Baylissa for helping me during the hardest time of my life. I was terrified and unsure of what was happening. Finding her website felt like a blessing. It finally gave me the answers I had been searching for when no one else understood.
Her knowledge is invaluable, but just as important was the hope and confidence her words gave me. Her morning messages, meditations, check-ins, webinars, and one-to-one support have all been lifelines.
Only someone who has lived this truly understands. Baylissa believes us, validates us, and brings light into the darkest days.’

“The Healing Bravehearts website is truly a lifeline for me. It is my safe place… calm, steady, and free from drama. Baylissa writes to us every day, and her words keep me grounded. I genuinely don’t believe I would have made it this far without her knowledge, care, and support.
Whenever I feel scared or start to lose hope, I go to the website and listen to one of her reminders, spend time in the Reassurance Room, watch a webinar, or listen to a podcast. In no time, I feel stronger and my courage returns. Thank you, Baylissa, from the bottom of my heart.”
